Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30, 1993) is a popular American rapper from the United States. The stage name he uses is the name of a loved uncle and is also the first name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing agreement with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A follow-up mixtape called Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. In the next year, Scott released a collaborative album featuring Quavo entitled Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the band name Huncho Jack.In 2018 the third studio album, Astroworld, was released to critical acclaim and produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. The single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three songs at number one in less than an entire year, in the year 2020.
